Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Castle Farmhouse Bed And Breakfast, I found a serene environment that suited my need for relaxation. The room was spacious and equipped with thoughtful extras like a mini fridge for fresh milk and a range of teas. Mornings were particularly delightful as I enjoyed a continental breakfast in the large garden under the shady gazebo-an ideal spot for outdoor dining. Though I didn't partake in the fitness classes available, I noted the gym and heated outdoor pool, which appeared inviting. I could tell that the 36ft pool would be a refreshing way to unwind on warmer days. One aspect I appreciated was the tranquil atmosphere; it was a welcome change from my usual hustle in archaeology. I also enjoyed the company of Lynne, the owner, who was welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. With such a good location near the motorway and local amenities, I can see why many guests might choose to return. A commendable option for those looking for a peaceful getaway.
